Cookie policy

1.  What are cookies?

Our website, www.eulenart.com (hereinafter the “Website”), owned by Grupo EULEN, uses technology known as cookies to collect information about how the Website is used.

Cookies are files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to your browser when visiting a website. In general, these technologies can serve a range of purposes, such as recognizing you as a user, obtaining information about your browsing habits, or customizing the way content is displayed.

Article 22 of the Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act (hereinafter the LSSI) provides that service providers may use data storage and retrieval devices (cookies, pixels, web beacons, or bugs) on end users’ terminal equipment, as long as such users have given their consent after receiving clear, comprehensive information about their use.

Further details are provided below on how we use cookies, and how they can be controlled and managed.

2. Why does this website use cookies?

Cookies are used to enhance the user experience, and are therefore an essential part of our website’s operation.

Section 3 of this policy describes the cookies and other devices used on the Website, while Section 5 explains the options for configuring them.

3. What types of cookies are there?

Cookies, depending on their Duration, can be grouped into:

Session cookies

Those which are designed to collect and store data while the user visits a website. They expire when the user closes the browser.

Persistent cookies

Those for which the data are stored on the terminal equipment. They expire either when the purpose for which they are used has been fulfilled (for example, to keep the user logged in) or they are manually deleted.

Depending on their Owner (i.e. the entity managing the equipment or domain from which the cookies are sent), they can be classified as follows:

First-party cookies

Those which are sent to the user’s terminal system from a system or domain managed by the editor itself and used to provide the service requested by the user.

Third-party cookies

Those which are sent to the user’s terminal from a system or domain which is not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

Likewise, depending on the Purpose for which the data obtained are processed, cookies can be:

Technical cookies

Those which allow users to navigate a website, platform, or application and use the various options or services it provides, including those employed by the editor to manage and operate the site and to enable its functions and services (e.g. controlling traffic and data communication, identifying sessions, accessing restricted areas, remembering items in an order).
As a general rule, these types of cookies are exempt from the obligations set out in Article 22.2 of the LSSI when used for such purposes, as they are necessary for the proper functioning of the website.

Preference or personalization cookies

Those which enable information to be remembered so that the user accesses the service with specific features that may distinguish their experience from that of other users, such as the chosen language, the number of search results displayed, or the appearance or content of the service depending on the browser used or the region from which the service is accessed. If users select such features themselves (e.g. by choosing the website language through the relevant country’s flag icon), these cookies are exempt from the obligations set out in Article 22.2 of the LSSI, as they are necessary for the website’s proper operation.

Performance cookies (analysis or measurement):

Those which enable the controller to track and analyze the behavior of users on the websites they are linked to, including measuring the effectiveness of advertisements.

Behavioral advertising cookies:

Those which store information on user behavior collected through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, enabling the creation of a specific profile that is used to display targeted advertising.
